Google, Ryerson, take home top awards at ARIDO Awards
The Assocation of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) Awards took plance this week to honour top provinces top designs.B+H Architects and Gow Hastings Architects Inc. were among two of the firms highlighted at this weeks ARIDO Awards. They were responsible for Google’s Waterloo Phase 1 project at the historic Breithaupt building and Ryerson’s University Student Service Hub.
The International Design Show was in Vancouver over the weekend and welcomed individual designers, artists, makers and design-centric brands. They came together to showcase their current works, concepts and products. Here are what were some of the most anticipated items of the show

On December 11, 2015, Detroit became the first and only city in the U.S. to receive the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) City of Design designation. Indiana offices designs highlighted at JLL event
Spaces Indiana held their inaugral awards event highlighting 4 local companies for leadership in design of their office spaces. Award winners were chosen not just based on design but how the projects met requirements around design uniqueness, brand and employee engagement.
